How we write and check questions

A practice question is only useful if its answer is right. Here is exactly how this bank was put together, and what we chose to leave out.

1. Source first, question second

We start from a primary or authoritative source: the text of the Constitution of India published by the Legislative Department, NCERT textbooks, UNESCO's heritage listings, the websites of the RBI, SEBI and other public bodies, and the rulebooks of sports governing bodies. A question is written only after we have read the passage that supports its answer.

2. Original wording

Questions, options and explanations are written in our own words. We do not copy question banks, coaching material or past papers, and nothing here is an official exam question. Short facts are attributed to the source they come from.

3. Every answer is checked and cited

Each question records its source and where in that source to look, such as an Article number or a PDF page. The site shows that citation after you answer. If we could not confirm an answer in the source we opened, the question was dropped.

4. What we leave out on purpose

5. How the daily set works

Today's set is chosen in your browser from the India (IST) date, so everyone sees the same 10 questions that day and a new set appears at midnight IST. It mixes topics evenly. Only your first attempt each day counts towards your streak; replays are for practice. Nothing is sent to us.

6. AI assistance and review

Researched and drafted with AI assistance, checked against the sources cited on each page; publisher review recorded in our corrections log.

7. Corrections

Every question has a "Report an error" link that opens our contact page with the question ID filled in. We review each report against the source and record accepted changes in the corrections log.
