Free official sources first, a few print aids second
You do not need to buy anything to use this site. The sources we check answers against are free online. If you prefer paper, here are the kinds of study aids that suit static GK revision, and what to look for in each.

A pocket edition of the Constitution
What to check: Check the "as on" date printed on the title page, so that recent amendments are included. Footnotes that name the amending Act are a strong plus for exam revision. The official text above is free, so buy print only if you prefer paper.
-
An atlas of India
What to check: Look for the year of publication, separate physical and political maps, an index of place names and clear scale bars. River, relief and island maps matter most for static GK.
-
Printed NCERT textbooks
What to check: Prefer the NCERT edition itself rather than a guide that paraphrases it, and check the reprint year printed in the book. The same chapters are free as PDFs on the NCERT site.
-
Plain or ruled index cards
What to check: For your own flashcards: question on one side, answer and source on the other. Medium-weight cards survive repeated shuffling; check the size fits a pocket or pouch.
-
A wall map of India
What to check: Check that the print is legible from a distance and that the map carries a publication date. A laminated sheet lasts longer and can be marked with a dry-erase pen.
